Role Overview
Quantum World Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly experienced SAP PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) Consultant for a long-term contract engagement. As we move into 2026, the manufacturing landscape, particularly within the automotive sector, has become increasingly complex with the rise of electric vehicle (EV) production and highly customized assembly lines. This role is critical in optimizing production throughput and ensuring that supply chain constraints are managed effectively through advanced SAP capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced production planning solutions using SAP ePP/DS within S/4HANA environments.
- Configure interactive production planning and detailed scheduling boards to provide real-time visibility into manufacturing operations.
- Manage complex pegging logic and constraint-based planning to align material availability with production requirements.
- Develop and refine Model Mix Planning and Multilevel Scheduling strategies to support high-variance manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Procurement, Logistics, and Inventory Management to ensure E2E supply chain synchronization.
- Implement automated responses to planning changes, utilizing sub-daily buckets and telescopic time buckets for precision scheduling.
- Optimize time-dependent safety stock levels to mitigate supply chain volatility and ensure production continuity.
Technical Requirements
- 10 to 15 years of experience in SAP Manufacturing modules, with a heavy focus on PPDS.
- Proven track record in the Automotive or Discrete Manufacturing industries.
- Expertise in SAP S/4HANA ePP/DS, including advanced heuristics and optimization engines.
- Deep understanding of Cross-Location Planning and Multi-Level Constraint-based Production Plans.
- Experience with Repetitive Manufacturing (REM) and its integration with advanced scheduling tools.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical configurations into business-centric value propositions.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $185,000 – $245,000 per year (Estimated)
