Position Summary
Prophecy Technologies is looking for a Senior Data Governance Specialist specializing in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC). As organizations in 2026 grapple with massive data volumes and the regulatory requirements of AI-driven analytics, the need for robust metadata management and data lineage has never been higher. This role will lead the implementation of governance frameworks that ensure data integrity, compliance, and accessibility across the enterprise.
Core Responsibilities
- Configure and manage metadata harvesting processes across diverse cloud and on-premise environments.
- Build and maintain comprehensive data lineage maps to track the flow of information from source to consumption.
- Establish and manage a centralized Business Glossary to standardize data definitions across the organization.
- Define data domains, governance policies, and automated workflows to ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with Data Stewards and Data Engineers to align metadata definitions with enterprise standards.
- Synchronize metadata between IDMC, modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks), and legacy systems.
- Monitor system health, perform capacity planning, and lead vulnerability remediation for the Informatica platform.
- Develop advanced dashboards to track performance and data-quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Informatica IDMC and CDGC platforms.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, master data management (MDM), and metadata management.
- Experience with cloud-native data architectures and integration patterns.
- Ability to lead disaster recovery testing, password rotation, and audit compliance activities.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical governance policies.
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment with data architecture and security teams.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
