Role Overview: Senior Stibo STEP Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Stibo STEP Developer to join our dynamic team for a critical 6-month initial contract. This role is fully remote; however, the successful candidate must be available to work during standard Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours to ensure seamless collaboration with our core project teams and stakeholders. As a Stibo STEP specialist, you will be at the forefront of our Master Data Management (MDM) and Product Information Management (PIM) initiatives, driving technical excellence and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Depth
- Platform Support & Maintenance: Provide expert-level, hands-on support for the Stibo STEP platform in a high-stakes production environment. This includes proactive BAU support, complex break/fix resolutions, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within the existing architecture.
- Workflow & UI Development: Design, build, and optimize sophisticated STEP workflows and user interfaces (UIs) that align with business processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that the UI is intuitive for end-users while maintaining the robust logic required for complex data governance.
- JavaScript Business Rules: Leverage your deep expertise in JavaScript to develop and maintain Business Rules within the STEP environment. This involves writing clean, efficient code to automate data validation, transformation, and integration tasks.
- Solution Design: Contribute to the design and implementation of MDM solution fundamentals. You will work closely with architects to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs that leverage the full potential of the Stibo STEP platform.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest Stibo STEP updates and industry best practices. You will play a key role in platform enhancements, ensuring that our MDM/PIM ecosystem remains cutting-edge and capable of supporting evolving business needs.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience specifically supporting and developing on the Stibo STEP platform.
- Proven track record in both MDM and PIM solution design and implementation.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, specifically applied to STEP Business Rules.
- Demonstrated experience in building and customizing STEP Workflows and Web UIs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data and system issues in a production setting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical business users.
- STEP Academy Training or relevant certifications are highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year
