Role Overview: Senior Solution Architect
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Solution Architect to join our dynamic IT team. With over 12 years of professional experience in the information technology sector, the ideal candidate will serve as a cornerstone for our enterprise architecture initiatives. This role is specifically tailored for a professional with a deep-seated background in the Banking and Financial Services domain, where security, scalability, and regulatory compliance are paramount. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between complex business problems and innovative technical solutions, ensuring that our core banking platforms remain resilient and future-proof.
Key Responsibilities and Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement a comprehensive enterprise architecture strategy that aligns with long-term business goals and stringent regulatory requirements.
- Design and oversee the development of scalable, resilient systems for core banking platforms, including Deposits, Lending, CRM, and Core Banking operations.
- Architect enterprise-grade applications utilizing a modern tech stack including .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, and Spring Boot.
- Lead the design of high-performance web and mobile banking applications using React and React Native to enhance customer engagement.
- Drive the adoption of microservices-based architecture, leveraging REST APIs, event-driven systems, and Kafka for real-time data processing.
- Design and implement hybrid cloud solutions across Azure (App Services, Functions, Cosmos DB, DevOps) and AWS environments.
- Integrate advanced security, compliance, and risk controls directly into the architecture and delivery lifecycle.
- Promote and mature DevSecOps practices, including robust CI/CD pipelines and secure coding standards.
- Apply industry-standard frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman to maintain and enforce enterprise architecture standards.
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership to junior architects and engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate closely with business executives to ensure technology investments drive strategic value.
- Lead legacy modernization initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition from monolithic systems to modern architectures with minimal business disruption.
Required Technical Expertise and Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of IT experience with a proven track record in the banking or financial services domain.
- Extensive experience in enterprise architecture and solution design for high-volume, mission-critical systems.
- Hands-on proficiency with .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Spring Boot.
- Demonstrated experience with modern frontend frameworks like React and React Native.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS, including serverless and containerized deployments.
- Expertise in Microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with TOGAF or Zachman frameworks for structured architectural planning.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
