Role Overview: Agentic AI Architect
As we move into 2026, the landscape of artificial intelligence has shifted from simple chat interfaces to complex, autonomous agentic workflows. We are seeking a visionary Agentic AI Architect to join our team onsite in Irvine, CA. This role is designed for a technical leader who understands the nuances of multi-agent systems, autonomous reasoning, and the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into production-grade enterprise environments. You will be responsible for defining the blueprint of how AI agents interact, collaborate, and execute tasks to solve intricate business problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust architectures for autonomous AI agents using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGPT.
- Develop sophisticated RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines to ensure agents have access to real-time, contextually relevant data.
- Lead the selection of appropriate LLMs (GPT-4o, Claude 3.5, Llama 3) based on specific use-case requirements for latency, cost, and reasoning capability.
- Architect scalable infrastructure on AWS or Azure to support high-concurrency agentic operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business processes ripe for automation through agentic AI.
- Establish governance and safety protocols for autonomous agents to prevent hallucinations and ensure ethical AI deployment.
- Optimize prompt engineering strategies and fine-tuning processes to enhance agent performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists on the principles of agentic design patterns and cognitive architectures.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience with Python and R-lang in the context of machine learning and data science.
- Proven track record of deploying AI models into production environments with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Deep understanding of vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate) and semantic search technologies.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern CI/CD practices for AI/ML.
- Strong background in software engineering principles, including microservices architecture and API design.
- Familiarity with agentic memory management and long-term state persistence in AI workflows.

Salary: $195,000 – $275,000 per year
