Project Overview
We are currently supporting a major Procure-to-Pay (P2P) implementation of Zip for a global client. The client’s backend infrastructure relies on Lawson (Infor) ERP and a custom middleware platform built on IBM AS400 (IBM i). We are seeking a Senior Integration Developer to serve as the Onshore Lead, driving the integration development between Lawson and the AS400-based middleware. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of master and transactional data across the P2P lifecycle.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and architect robust integrations between Lawson ERP (S3 or CloudSuite) and legacy AS400 middleware.
- Develop inbound and outbound interfaces for critical P2P data objects, including Vendor Master, Item Master, and Chart of Accounts.
- Lead the development of transactional data flows for Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Invoices, and Payment Status Updates.
- Perform complex data mapping, transformation, and validation logic to ensure data integrity across disparate systems.
- Implement advanced error handling, logging, and automated reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate closely with the P2P vendor’s technical team to validate end-to-end data flows between Zip and the middleware.
- Directly manage and mentor offshore developers, ensuring high-quality code delivery and adherence to technical specifications.
- Participate in all phases of testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Performance Testing.
- Document all integration designs and technical specifications for production stabilization and future support.
Required Technical Skills
- 8+ years of experience in ERP integration development, with a focus on Lawson (Infor) systems.
- Deep hands-on experience with IBM AS400 / IBM i, including RPG or COBOL development.
- Proven expertise in building integrations involving legacy middleware systems.
- Strong proficiency in REST and SOAP API integration, as well as file-based integrations (CSV, XML, JSON).
- Advanced SQL skills and a thorough understanding of data transformation techniques.
- Functional knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes, including Accounts Payable and Vendor lifecycle management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infor ION or IBM MQ messaging frameworks.
- Prior experience integrating P2P platforms such as Zip, Coupa, or Ariba.
- Exposure to SOX-controlled environments and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to interface directly with client technical leadership.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $205,000 per year (Estimated)
