Role Overview: Senior React UI Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior React UI Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in Charlotte, NC. This is a critical role requiring a “Day 1 Onsite” commitment, focusing on building robust, accessible, and high-performance web applications. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for architecting front-end solutions that meet the highest standards of modern web development, specifically focusing on ADA compliance and seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of complex user interfaces using ReactJS and Redux, ensuring state management is efficient and scalable.
  • Implement and maintain strict ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards across all web properties to ensure accessibility for all users.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and high-fidelity designs into functional, responsive code.
  • Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
  • Integrate front-end components with back-end APIs and services, ensuring data consistency and security.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and maintaining high code quality standards.
  • Utilize CI/CD tools to automate deployment processes and maintain a streamlined development workflow within an Agile environment.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the React ecosystem and front-end development.

Technical Requirements

  • Minimum of 7-8 years of professional experience in Web Development, with a strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • At least 5 years of dedicated experience working with Front-End Technologies, specifically ReactJS.
  • Proven expertise in Redux for state management and a deep understanding of React hooks and lifecycle methods.
  • Hands-on experience implementing ADA standards and using RIA (Rich Internet Applications) frameworks that meet accessibility guidelines.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, DOM manipulation, and the JavaScript object model.
  • Experience with modern build tools and version control systems like Git, Webpack, and NPM/Yarn.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) and working in an Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $140,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
