Role Overview
Tek Inspirations LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join our team in Farmers Branch, Texas. This is a critical leadership role focused on ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data-intensive applications that support complex regulatory and business requirements. As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from strategy development to final delivery, ensuring that all software products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform comprehensive data and report testing for regulatory reporting applications, ensuring all outputs align with legal and business standards.
- Validate data accuracy across multiple systems and databases, utilizing advanced SQL queries and data analysis techniques.
- Collaborate closely with QA Analysts, Developers, and Stakeholders to define testing coverage and identify potential risks early in the SDLC.
- Develop and implement robust testing strategies, detailed test plans, and comprehensive documentation to guide the QA process.
- Perform deep-dive root-cause analysis and debugging to resolve complex technical issues and improve system performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) methodologies.
- Review and approve test cases, scripts, and technical documentation created by the QA team.
- Provide mentorship, leadership, and coordination to junior QA staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Manage and deliver testing milestones in strict alignment with project timelines and business priorities.
Required Technical Skills
- Expertise in SQL and modern software testing methodologies.
- Strong background in data analysis and data validation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for automation and data manipulation.
- Deep understanding of data modeling and data warehouse (DWH) concepts.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the software testing lifecycle (STLC).
- Proven ability in debugging and performing root cause analysis on complex systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with regulatory reporting or financial regulations (e.g., CCAR, Basel III).
- Domain knowledge in Banking or Financial Services is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute).

Special Requirements
Onsite from Day 1 required. Banking domain knowledge preferred.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
