Role Overview
Quantum Integrators Group LLC is currently seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Architect to join our elite consulting team. As organizations in 2026 continue their transition to S/4HANA and cloud-native infrastructures, the role of the Basis Architect has become more critical than ever. This position involves managing complex SAP landscapes, ensuring high availability, and driving technical excellence across global environments. We are looking for a professional who can provide high-level architectural guidance while remaining hands-on with system administration and performance tuning. This is a remote opportunity that requires a deep understanding of both legacy ECC systems and modern S/4HANA architectures.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, and Portal systems, ensuring scalability and resilience.
- Lead technical upgrades, OS/DB migrations, and system refreshes across development, QA, and production environments.
- Optimize system performance through proactive monitoring and tuning of the SAP application layer and underlying databases (HANA, Sybase, Oracle).
- Manage security protocols, GRC integration, and user authorization frameworks to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Provide high-level architectural guidance for cloud migrations to platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Collaborate with functional teams to support business process requirements and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, disaster recovery plans, and operational procedures.
- Mentor junior Basis consultants and provide technical leadership during critical project phases.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
- 18+ years of professional experience in SAP Basis administration and architecture.
- Proven track record of leading successful S/4HANA implementations and migrations.
- Expertise in SAP HANA database administration, including performance tuning and high availability setup.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure services and their integration with SAP systems.
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager 7.2, including Focused Build and Focused Run.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (Ansible, Terraform, Python) for SAP landscape management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve critical system issues under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $190,000 per year
