Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Implementation Engineer to join our team supporting a large-scale energy client in Carmel, Indiana. This role is critical for the delivery of complex technical solutions and requires a professional who can balance ongoing business support with the implementation of new regulatory reforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and a deep understanding of the electric utility system.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a mix of support for ongoing base business operations, with a specific focus on identifying and implementing streamlining opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Assist project teams with the implementation of new reforms, focusing on data manipulation, exception handling, and the delivery of high-quality final work products.
- Perform advanced data analysis, specifically applying inputs for Schedule 53B (planning resource accreditation methodology) using complex mathematical logic.
- Solve complex implementation challenges by creating new data sources where they do not currently exist.
- Set milestones and manage work toward established timelines to ensure project success.
- Critically analyze available information and established systems to question assumptions and refine calculation approaches.
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in development tools such as Python and various query tools for data manipulation.
- Experience in system and process design within a technical environment.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle nuanced calculation approaches governed by complex logic.
- Exposure to electric utility systems, demand response, or demand-side management is highly beneficial.
- Experience with end-use electric equipment and customer data.
Professional Qualifications
- Local candidates to Carmel, Indiana are preferred as the role requires being onsite 4 days a week.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $95,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
