Position Summary
3B Staffing LLC is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in PMBOK methodologies and the Healthcare domain. This is a 6-month Contract-to-Hire position that is mostly remote, with very rare onsite visits required in Philadelphia, PA. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing an advanced portfolio of complex projects aligned with departmental and organizational strategic goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify, define, and organize projects by establishing clear scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to ensure institutional and operational requirements are met.
- Secure project approval and determine resource availability, timelines, and financial commitments.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions to align on mutually agreed goals and synthesize complex customer input.
- Develop detailed project documentation, including project charters, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and responsibility matrices.
- Manage end-to-end project execution, tracking progress against milestones and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular status meetings with project sponsors to communicate health, escalate issues, and provide realignment recommendations.
- Perform post-project evaluations, document lessons learned, and archive all project documentation.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Advanced knowledge of PMBOK methodologies, tools, and documentation standards.
- Intermediate knowledge of BABOK guidelines and experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Expertise in change management principles and organizational dynamics.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio for process mapping.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority.
Experience and Education
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree; Preferred: Master’s Degree.
- Minimum 5 years of project management, quality, or process improvement experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience in project management and business analysis.
- Preferred: 3+ years working in a healthcare or research-related environment.
Special Requirements
Contract-to-Hire (6 months); Mid-Atlantic candidates preferred; Rare onsite visits to Philadelphia, PA required; Healthcare domain restriction.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 per year
