Position Summary
We are looking for a visionary Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in San Francisco. This high-impact role is designed for a technical leader who can balance strategic infrastructure design with hands-on implementation. You will be responsible for advancing our core technology environment, focusing on cloud network infrastructure, identity management, and employee productivity tools. As a lead, you will influence both business and engineering teams to identify and implement scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that support a global workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain secure, reliable Cloud, Wi-Fi, and VPN solutions using AWS and Cisco Meraki.
- Lead the implementation and management of Okta SSO, including lifecycle management and MFA enforcement.
- Oversee the deployment and support of productivity applications such as Slack, M365, Zoom, and Atlassian.
- Partner with Information Security to enforce SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF compliance standards.
- Develop automation scripts and monitoring systems to proactively resolve infrastructure issues.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT staff, fostering a culture of operational excellence.
- Manage endpoint provisioning for Mac and Windows using MDM tools like Kandji and Automox.
- Act as the final escalation point (L3 support) for complex technical troubleshooting and helpdesk issues.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 13 years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration.
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud networking, SD-WAN, and Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Advanced knowledge of identity management and SSO integrations via Okta.
- Proficiency in managing SaaS ecosystems and collaboration tools for enterprise environments.
- Strong background in endpoint management and security configuration for diverse hardware fleets.
- Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM best practices and process improvement methodologies.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
