Position Summary
iTech US is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with a specialization in Node.js and JavaScript for a 12-month contract role based in Plano, Texas. This position requires the candidate to be onsite from day one. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building high-volume, low-latency, enterprise-grade applications within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment. You will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring that all solutions are scalable, reusable, and meet the rigorous standards of a modern enterprise ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust backend services using Node.js, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
- Build and maintain modern web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, focusing on superior UI/UX principles.
- Manage and optimize data storage solutions, including MongoDB and SQL databases, to support high-volume application data.
- Collaborate within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Write clean, well-designed, and testable code following industry best practices and internal coding standards.
- Develop and maintain automated unit and system tests using modern testing frameworks to ensure application reliability.
- Support CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration, deployment, and release on demand, utilizing tools like Git and JIRA.
- Perform root-cause analysis and debugging to resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.
- Participate in peer code reviews and technical design discussions to maintain high code quality and architectural integrity.
Technical Requirements
- Strong expertise in Full Stack JavaScript development with a focus on Node.js for backend services.
- Proficiency in both NoSQL (MongoDB) and Relational (SQL) database management and design.
- Solid understanding of Web UI/UX development using HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Podman and Kubernetes is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing libraries.
- Knowledge of Managed Service or Telecom Operations practices is a significant advantage.
- SAFe certifications, such as Certified Software Engineer or DevOps Practitioner, are preferred.
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of professional software development experience is preferred for this senior-level role.
- Proven experience in building scalable, cloud-native applications in an enterprise setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Special Requirements
Day One Onsite in Plano, TX. Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment. 12-month contract. C2C rate provided.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $46 – $55 per year
