Job Summary
Novia Infotech is currently seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Automation Engineer for a long-term (12+ months) contract opportunity in Jacksonville, FL. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing scalable infrastructure automation solutions using cutting-edge technologies like Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, and Microsoft Azure. We are looking for a professional who lives and breathes Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) principles to drive efficiency and reliability across enterprise cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust infrastructure automation workflows using Ansible Tower and Ansible Automation Platform.
- Utilize Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Develop and maintain reusable IaC modules to streamline deployment processes across the organization.
- Automate the configuration and management of Azure Cloud services, including security policy enforcement.
- Optimize cloud environments for high availability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Provide operational support for networking components, databases, and Windows Server environments.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and automation issues, performing deep root cause analysis.
- Develop advanced automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Integrate automation workflows into modern CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment speed and quality.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps and Engineering teams to align automation strategies with business goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 to 10 years of professional experience in infrastructure automation, DevOps, or systems engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency with Ansible Tower and the broader Ansible Automation Platform.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for multi-tier infrastructure provisioning.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) best practices.
- Extensive experience managing and automating services within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Solid background in system administration, covering networking, databases, and Windows servers.
- Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Proven experience in CI/CD pipeline integration and management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, enterprise environments.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
