Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asset Management Business Analyst to join our Investment Book of Record (IBOR) product team in Newark, Delaware. This is a critical role focused on expanding our platform’s capabilities to support private assets, moving beyond its current design for public assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between legacy data storage solutions and strategic systems of record, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency across the investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis and data lineage mapping for alternative investment data sets, including positions, transactions, and associated attributes.
- Analyze existing databases housing alternative investment data to identify discrepancies and gaps when compared to the firm’s strategic systems of record.
- Document technical and functional data gaps, triaging issues based on criticality in collaboration with the alternative middle office teams.
- Develop and propose solutions to bridge identified data gaps, leveraging data generated by the strategic operating model.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Middle Office, and Investment professionals, to ensure the platform meets the evolving needs of the private assets business.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and clients, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Act as a self-starter and quick learner, taking ownership of complex data challenges in a fast-paced financial environment.
Technical Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Asset Management or Investment Banking domain.
- Deep understanding of alternative investments (Private Equity, Real Estate, Hedge Funds) and their associated data structures.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies, including SQL and data modeling.
- Familiarity with IBOR (Investment Book of Record) systems and strategic data management frameworks.
- Experience with data lineage documentation and gap analysis in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Visa: No H1B/CPT. Location: 5 days onsite. Domain: Asset Management / Alternative Investments.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $125,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
