Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle HFM Techno-Functional Developer to join our finance transformation team in Plano, Texas. This hybrid role is critical for maintaining and enhancing our financial consolidation and reporting systems. You will bridge the gap between complex accounting requirements and technical system configurations, ensuring that our global financial close process is seamless and accurate. The ideal candidate will possess a rare blend of technical scripting expertise and a deep understanding of financial consolidation principles.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) applications tailored to enterprise consolidation needs.
- Write and maintain complex HFM Rule Files using VB Script to automate financial logic, eliminations, and equity pickup.
- Develop sophisticated financial reports using Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio (HFR) to meet executive and regulatory requirements.
- Master Oracle Smart View for advanced data analysis, including the creation of VB Macro-based automation tools for finance users.
- Manage data integration flows from SAP and other ERPs using FDMEE and Jython scripting.
- Lead unit testing, system integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases for system upgrades and new feature rollouts.
- Provide expert-level support to the finance and accounting departments during month-end and year-end close cycles.
- Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to reduce consolidation times and improve data reliability.
- Document all configurations, business rules, and technical processes to ensure knowledge continuity.
Required Qualifications
- 10-15 years of professional experience in EPM/CPM solutions.
- 10+ years of dedicated experience with on-premise Oracle HFM applications.
- Strong functional knowledge of financial consolidation, multi-currency reporting, and GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Technical mastery of VB.NET, Jython, and SQL for data management and automation.
- Experience working in an Agile environment using tools like Jira and ServiceNow.
- Exposure to cloud-based EPM tools such as FCCS, EPBCS, or OAC is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

This position is based in Plano, TX, and follows a hybrid schedule requiring three days per week in the office. Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $235,000 per year (Estimated)
