Role Overview: Oracle Simphony Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Simphony Architect to serve as the Simphony Inventory Management Workstream Lead for a large-scale restaurant rollout program. This is a critical onsite role based in Orlando, FL, requiring immediate availability. The successful candidate will lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Simphony Inventory across a multi-unit restaurant environment within an Agile delivery framework. This program involves complex integrations with Oracle MICROS Simphony, Oracle Retail, and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP to ensure seamless operations and financial visibility.
Key Responsibilities and Strategic Impact
- Workstream Leadership: Own the end-to-end Simphony Inventory workstream, including strategic planning, backlog definition, story refinement, and sprint execution.
- Process Design: Lead the design of comprehensive Back-of-House (BOH) processes, focusing on ingredient management, recipe costing, yields, prep/production workflows, receiving, inventory counts, and waste management.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex culinary and operational requirements into actionable user stories and technical configuration specifications.
- System Integration: Oversee and validate integrations between Simphony POS, Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Retail, and various data/analytics platforms to ensure data integrity.
- Deployment Management: Lead configuration, rigorous testing, and pilot/wave deployments across multiple restaurant locations.
- Financial Accuracy: Validate recipe costs, ingredient yields, and cost rollups during pilots to ensure accurate COGS visibility and financial reporting.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with Operations, Culinary, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to drive deployment success, training, and user adoption.
- Continuous Improvement: Support internal controls, variance reduction strategies, and the continuous improvement of inventory and costing processes.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in restaurant or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) technology, specifically focusing on inventory, POS, and menu/recipe systems.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Oracle MICROS Simphony Inventory and recipe costing modules.
- Strong knowledge of BOH operational processes including prep, receiving, inventory counts, modifiers, and waste tracking.
- At least 3 years of experience delivering projects in Agile or SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environments.
- Proven experience integrating POS systems with ERP and financial platforms.
Preferred Skills and Success Measures
- Experience with multi-unit restaurant rollouts and large-scale digital transformations.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion ERP or Oracle Retail modules.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, COGS management, and kitchen operations.
- Experience with API and middleware platforms such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), MuleSoft, or Boomi.
- Success will be measured by accurate recipe cost rollups, stable inventory data flows, high operator adoption, and significant reduction in food cost variance.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
