Role Overview
The Senior Salesforce Developer Lead position in Mettawa, Illinois, is a high-impact role designed for a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem. This role requires a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, specifically within the context of large-scale enterprise projects. As a lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical execution of projects, from initial business requirements analysis to final solution delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, Triggers, LWC, and Flows.
- Architect and implement Service Cloud and Health Cloud solutions tailored to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure the technical integrity of the Salesforce platform by following best practices in solution architecture.
- Manage the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Implement and maintain DevOps CI/CD/CT pipelines within the Salesforce ecosystem to streamline delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using advanced integration features and web services.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience with Salesforce.com, Service Cloud, and Health Cloud.
- Proficiency in Apex programming, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Flows and automation tools.
- Experience with web development technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks.
- Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and common design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce integration patterns and APIs.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and Salesforce Well-Architected concepts.
- Proven track record in implementing scalable and sustainable solutions on the Salesforce platform.
Education and Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Salesforce development and leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 8 years of application development experience.
- Alternatively, a Master’s Degree with 7 years of experience or a PhD with 3 years of experience.
- Required certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Developer, Consultant, and Platform Developer.
- 6+ years of experience in technical project execution for large enterprise environments.
- 6+ years of experience specifically implementing solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
