Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Human Resources & Financial Solutions QE Lead to spearhead our quality engineering initiatives in Goodlettsville, TN. This is a critical leadership role focused on ensuring the integrity, performance, and reliability of enterprise-level HR and financial platforms. As a QE Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end quality strategy, from initial test planning to final deployment and post-production monitoring. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate complex integrations, APIs, and data flows within a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Quality Engineering strategy for HR and Financial systems, including Time & Absence, Workforce Management, and Payroll modules.
  • Lead test planning, test case design, and defect management across multiple enterprise platforms to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Oversee testing for Oracle backend systems and financial processing implementations, ensuring data accuracy and system stability.
  • Validate complex integrations and APIs across various enterprise applications, focusing on data flow integrity.
  • Perform cloud data validation and integration testing using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support modern infrastructure needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment to align testing efforts with business priorities and sprint goals.
  • Manage all test artifacts, reporting, and defect tracking using JIRA, providing clear visibility into quality metrics.
  • Ensure compliance-driven testing and audit readiness, maintaining rigorous data reconciliation processes for financial accuracy.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to the QE team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Communicate risks, progress, and quality metrics to executive leadership and project stakeholders.

Technical Environment and Domain Expertise

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the HR and Financial domains. You will be working with sophisticated systems that handle sensitive employee data and complex financial transactions. Expertise in Oracle financial systems and modern cloud platforms like GCP is essential. You will be expected to drive automation where possible while maintaining a high standard for manual validation of complex business logic. Your role involves not just finding bugs, but preventing them through proactive architectural reviews and process optimization.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Quality Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a dedicated QE Lead or Management role.
  • Extensive domain knowledge in HR systems (Time & Absence, Payroll) and Financial Solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle backend systems and API testing.
  • Proficiency in cloud data validation, specifically within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem.
  • Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise defect tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • ISTQB or equivalent QE certification is highly preferred.

On-site requirement in Goodlettsville, TN. Domain focus: HR and Financial systems (Time & Absence, Payroll, Oracle). Requires 10+ years QE experience.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $140,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Goodlettsville, TN
