Role Overview: IT Project Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic IT Project Manager to lead critical technology initiatives in the Bay Area. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience who can navigate the complexities of modern software development, infrastructure upgrades, and digital transformation. As an onsite leader, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of high-impact projects that align with our core business objectives. You will act as the primary bridge between technical teams and executive stakeholders, ensuring that every milestone is met with precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities and Strategic Execution
- Lead the full lifecycle of IT projects from initial discovery and chartering through to final implementation and post-deployment review.
- Define comprehensive project scopes, success metrics, and detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) to ensure clarity across all teams.
- Develop and manage complex project timelines, resource allocation strategies, and multi-million dollar budgets.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts involving software engineering, quality assurance, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, managing change requests with a focus on maintaining project integrity and timeline.
- Facilitate essential Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, while maintaining a hybrid approach where necessary.
- Develop detailed technology roadmaps for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and other business-critical applications.
- Ensure all project activities adhere to strict IT governance, cybersecurity protocols, and industry compliance standards.
- Provide transparent and data-driven status updates to the leadership team, highlighting progress, roadblocks, and resource utilization.
Qualifications and Technical Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related business field is required.
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in IT project management or software development leadership.
- Deep understanding of various methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid frameworks.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Atlassian Jira, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Project.
- Hands-on experience managing projects within cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in developing cost estimates for both execution and long-term operating costs.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Preferred certifications include PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
Work Environment and Local Requirements
This position is strictly onsite in the Bay Area, CA. We are currently only considering local candidates who can commute to the facility daily. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on large-scale system migrations and facility-based technology implementations that directly impact our operational efficiency. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high degree of problem-solving capability and a commitment to continuous process improvement.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
