Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Consultant for a fully remote position. This role is critical for our enterprise clients who require sophisticated financial controlling and accounting solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP modules, with a heavy emphasis on automated testing and modern ABAP development techniques. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of functional expertise and deep technical knowledge in the SAP ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain SAP FICO/FICD modules to meet evolving business requirements.
- Implement automated unit testing using ABAP Unit to ensure code quality and stability.
- Develop and optimize Object-Oriented (OO) code within the SAP environment.
- Utilize Core Data Services (CDS) and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) for high-performance data handling.
- Design and develop user interfaces using FIORI Elements and UI5.
- Manage batch-oriented development processes, including mass activities and large-scale reporting.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions.
- Expose data for CDS vs AMDP consumption based on architectural requirements.
- Leverage backend classes for automated unit testing to maintain a robust codebase.
- Handle large volumes of data and ensure scalability in reporting and processing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive experience in SAP FICO module configuration and support.
- Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, specifically Object-Oriented paradigms.
- Hands-on experience with CDS views and AMDP.
- Knowledge of FIORI and UI5 development frameworks.
- Experience handling large volumes of data and complex batch processing.
- Commitment to automated testing and high-quality software delivery.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and functional requirements.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $190,000 per year (Estimated)
