Position Summary: Oracle Cloud Compensation Expert
Qualis1 Inc. is looking for a seasoned Oracle Cloud Compensation Techno-Functional Consultant for a 6-month contract in Columbia, South Carolina. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and functional business knowledge to drive the implementation and optimization of Oracle Fusion Compensation modules. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between HR business requirements and technical system configurations, ensuring that compensation strategies are effectively translated into the Oracle Cloud environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Implementation & Configuration: Lead the setup of Workforce Compensation, Incentive Compensation, Salary Basis, and Grade Ladders. You will be responsible for configuring compensation cycles for merit, bonus, and stock plans.
- Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration between Compensation and other HCM modules including Core HR, Payroll, and Absence Management.
- Documentation & Testing: Prepare comprehensive functional design documents (FDs), configuration workbooks, and SOPs. Develop and execute SIT and UAT strategies to ensure system integrity.
- Reporting & Analytics: Utilize BI/OTBI and HCM Extracts to create complex reports that provide actionable insights for budgeting and workforce planning.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct workshops with HR and Finance leadership to gather requirements and provide guidance on compensation best practices and compliance.
Technical & Functional Requirements
Candidates must have at least 7 years of hands-on experience specifically within Oracle Cloud Compensation. Deep knowledge of Workforce Compensation and Incentive Compensation is essential. You should be familiar with the broader Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and how it supports Fusion applications. Experience with quarterly Oracle Cloud release testing is required to assess the impact of updates on existing setups. Strong analytical skills are necessary to troubleshoot complex configuration issues and drive system enhancements.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
