Position Summary: Salesforce Veeva Vault Architect
We are looking for a visionary Salesforce Veeva Vault Architect to lead a critical data migration and implementation project in Summit, NJ. This hybrid role requires a unique blend of technical mastery in the Veeva ecosystem and strategic architectural oversight. As the life sciences industry continues to digitize its core operations in 2026, the role of the Veeva Architect has become central to ensuring regulatory compliance, data integrity, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for the end-to-end architecture of data migration strategies, ensuring that complex datasets are transitioned seamlessly into the Veeva Vault environment.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Leadership
- Manage the comprehensive data migration product backlog, including the definition and refinement of tasks, features, and user stories.
- Collaborate with the customer Data Lead to establish robust user stories, ensuring that Acceptance Criteria in JIRA are clear, measurable, and aligned with business goals.
- Lead the technical design and execution of source-to-target mapping, ensuring data fidelity across complex schemas.
- Oversee and participate in code development and scripting (Java or Python) to facilitate automated and secure data migration processes.
- Develop and maintain a standard data migration approach that integrates with the broader enterprise architecture and project management frameworks.
- Coordinate validation efforts for data transformation and loading, ensuring that all activities meet the stringent requirements of the customer SDLC process.
- Create and manage a detailed Progress Tracker to provide real-time visibility into migration stages and potential bottlenecks.
- Ensure all documentation is compliant with GxP standards and follows the customer’s internal review and approval workflows.
Essential Skills and Domain Expertise
- Deep expertise in Veeva Vault configuration, implementation, and architectural principles.
- Extensive experience in Data Migration specifically within the Veeva platform, including the use of Vault Loader and related APIs.
- Strong understanding of SaaS/Cloud solutions, including release management and environment synchronization.
- Proficiency in Java or Python for custom scripting and automation of data tasks.
- Expert knowledge of the Veeva data model, including the management of documents, records, and metadata.
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools tailored for the Life Sciences industry.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of Life Sciences and CPG domain projects, specifically regarding NC, CAPA, Change, and Audit processes.

This role requires a professional who can work both independently as a lead architect and collaboratively as a core member of the project team.
Special Requirements
Hybrid work mode in Summit, NJ; Life Sciences/CPG domain experience required; GxP project documentation experience mandatory; Must have Java or Python experience.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $240,000 per year (Estimated)
