Role Overview: SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Consultant
Diverse Lynx LLC is seeking a highly experienced SAP WM Consultant for a critical onsite engagement in Kentucky. This role is designed for a technical expert who can bridge the gap between complex SAP configuration and real-world warehouse operations. As a senior consultant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP WM solutions, from initial design and configuration to long-term production support and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Scope
- Solution Design & Configuration: Lead the design and implementation of SAP WM modules, ensuring alignment with global supply chain standards. You will configure storage types, sections, bins, and movement types to optimize warehouse throughput.
- Operational Support: Provide real-time support to warehouse users across receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. This includes troubleshooting Transfer Orders (TO), Handling Units (HU), and serial number inconsistencies.
- RF and Mobile Integration: Manage and optimize RF scanning and mobile transactions. You will be responsible for ensuring that warehouse personnel have seamless, low-latency access to SAP via handheld devices.
- Cross-Module Integration: Ensure robust integration with SAP MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and specifically SAP ATTP (Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals) for compliance-heavy environments.
- Interface Management: Monitor system queues and resolve failed IDocs or interface issues affecting Distribution Center (DC) operations, particularly those involving third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze warehouse KPIs such as TO cycle time and replenishment delays to identify bottlenecks. You will propose and implement SAP-driven process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Strategic Business Impact
In this role, you are not just a technical resource but a strategic partner to warehouse supervisors and operations managers. You will lead requirement gathering workshops, map business processes to SAP best practices, and develop comprehensive functional specifications for ABAP developers. Your work will directly impact inventory accuracy, order fulfillment speed, and overall supply chain resilience. Additionally, you will be expected to travel between various Distribution Centers to provide hands-on support and training to end-users, ensuring that the system is utilized to its full potential.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 12 years of hands-on SAP WM configuration and support experience.
- Proven track record in logistics and warehouse operations.
- Strong proficiency in SAP WM/MM master data and transaction flows.
- Experience with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Special Requirements
Onsite requirement in Kentucky; C2C contract; 6.4% VMS charges apply; Travel to other DCs required.

Salary: $63 – $63 per year
