Position Summary
Infotech Spectrum Inc. is seeking a talented and motivated SAP BTP App Developer to join our team for a high-profile onsite engagement in Washington, DC. This 12-month contract role is ideal for a developer who thrives in a modern SAP environment and possesses a deep understanding of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You will be instrumental in building, extending, and integrating applications within the S/4HANA ecosystem, leveraging the latest cloud-native technologies and development frameworks provided by SAP.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using CAP (Cloud Application Programming) and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) models.
- Design and implement modern user interfaces using SAPUI5 and Fiori elements, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.
- Build and manage integrations between S/4HANA and third-party systems using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and API Management.
- Create and optimize OData services and CDS (Core Data Services) views to support data-driven application requirements.
- Utilize S/4HANA extensibility features (In-App and Side-by-Side) to meet specific business needs without compromising the core system.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications and high-quality code.
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of cloud-based SAP applications.
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial design and prototyping to deployment and post-go-live support.
Technical Skill Set
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, encompassing both functional understanding and technical implementation.
- Proficiency in SAP BTP development, specifically with CAP, RAP, and the SAP Business Application Studio.
- Expertise in SAPUI5, Fiori, and JavaScript/TypeScript for front-end development.
- Deep knowledge of SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) for orchestrating complex business processes.
- Experience with ABAP development, including modern ABAP for Cloud and RESTful services.
- Familiarity with OData protocols, REST APIs, and JSON/XML data formats.
- Understanding of SAP HANA database concepts and advanced CDS modeling.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices within the SAP BTP environment, including CI/CD pipelines.
Experience and Education
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects. You should be comfortable working in an onsite capacity in Washington, DC, and possess the communication skills necessary to interact effectively with diverse project teams and stakeholders. Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
