Job Description

KK Software Associates is looking for a dedicated PL/SQL Developer to join our team for a 100% onsite position in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is critical for maintaining and enhancing our core database systems, requiring a developer with a deep mastery of Oracle technologies and a commitment to high-performance database engineering. The successful candidate will work directly with stakeholders to design and implement complex data solutions that drive business operations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL objects including packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code to ensure maximum performance and scalability.
  • Perform database performance tuning using execution plans, hints, and advanced indexing strategies.
  • Design and implement relational schemas and data models to support new application features.
  • Collaborate with application developers to integrate backend database logic with frontend systems.
  • Utilize tools such as SQL Developer and TOAD for daily development and debugging tasks.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
  • Manage source code using GitHub and track project progress through JIRA.
  • Ensure data security and integrity across all database environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
  • Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and Oracle Database architecture.
  • Proven ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with performance tuning and diagnostic tools.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and relational design principles.
  • Proficiency with GitHub for version control and JIRA for task management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration workflows.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Knowledge of automated testing for database objects.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $115,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
