Position Summary
Teamware Solutions is urgently hiring an SAP ABAP Techno-Functional Consultant for a high-impact project in the Banking sector. This role is specifically open to local candidates in the Detroit, Michigan area and operates on a hybrid/onsite model. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical ABAP development and functional business requirements, specifically within financial services environments.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex SAP ABAP programs, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW).
- Analyze business requirements within the Banking domain to design technical solutions that align with industry standards and regulatory compliance.
- Provide techno-functional support for SAP modules, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience with SAP FSCD (Financial Services Collections and Disbursements).
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of existing ABAP code to ensure system efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP solutions with external banking systems and third-party applications.
- Lead the technical design phase of projects, creating detailed specifications and documentation for custom developments.
- Support end-user testing (UAT) and provide post-go-live support to ensure smooth transition and operational stability.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, including SAP HANA and OData services, to drive continuous improvement within the SAP landscape.
Technical Requirements
- Deep expertise in SAP ABAP development, including Object-Oriented ABAP and modern enhancement techniques.
- Strong functional understanding of Banking processes and financial modules within SAP.
- Experience with SAP FSCD is highly advantageous and will be prioritized during the selection process.
- Ability to translate complex business logic into efficient technical designs.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving critical system issues in a timely manner.
Candidate Expectations
As this is a local-only requirement for Detroit, MI, candidates must be currently residing in the area and able to commute to the client site as required. Compensation & Location
Salary: $125,000 – $165,000 per year (Estimated)
