Role Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior OFSAA (Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications) Engineer/Developer to join their enterprise data team. This is a critical role focused on supporting ongoing profitability, scale readiness, and regulatory reporting projects. The successful candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the OFSAA application suite, which is utilized to calculate profitability at the account level, subsequently rolling up by product, customer, and organization to provide essential data for financial and risk reporting. This position is 100% remote but requires strict adherence to either Central Standard Time (CST) or Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours to align with the core business team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the configuration, development, patching, upgrades, and customization of various OFSAA modules including OFSAAI, OFSALM, OFSFTP, OFSPFT, OFSADIH, and OFSDF.
  • Execute complex data mapping tasks for staging and reporting layers, facilitating the flow of information from the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) to OFSAA.
  • Develop and maintain Table-to-Table (T2T) transformations to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance business team to evaluate monthly requirements and participate in the efficient development, delivery, and deployment of financial models.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications while ensuring all IT Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes are meticulously documented and followed.
  • Work within Snowflake environments to support the EDW and utilize Axiom for regulatory reporting implications.
  • Perform performance tuning and monitoring of the OFSAA environment to ensure high availability and processing efficiency.

Technical Requirements

  • 3-5 years of dedicated experience supporting OFSAA versions 8.1.0 and 8.1.2.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Warehouse implementation and application development.
  • Proven expertise in Erwin Data Modelling.
  • Strong proficiency in ETL processes and PL/SQL programming.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Developer and Toad for database management.
  • Basic Unix/Linux scripting skills for automation and system maintenance.
  • Deep understanding of bank financial statements and the interaction of financial attributes.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in financial services or banking domains, specifically regarding transfer pricing, loan loss reserves, and equity calculations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a 3-month Contract-to-Hire (CTH) structure.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
