Role Overview: AI/ML Architect
We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on AI/ML Architect to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI solutions. This is a contract role requiring a deep technical background in Python development and a proven track record of moving AI models from conceptual stages into robust production environments. The ideal candidate will not only architect the high-level strategy but will also be deeply involved in the coding, debugging, and optimization of AI components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-On AI Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement AI and GenAI solutions using Python as the primary programming language. Build production-ready components including data ingestion pipelines, prompt engineering layers, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
- Cloud & Hyperscaler Implementation: Leverage AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda) and Azure (Azure OpenAI, AI Studio, ML Services) to build cloud-native AI architectures. Integrate these services with enterprise data platforms and security frameworks.
- Architecture & Delivery Leadership: Own the end-to-end solution architecture. Actively participate in Proof of Concepts (POCs), production deployments, and code reviews. Define MLOps and LLMOps patterns, including CI/CD and observability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work directly with client technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into working solutions. Serve as the technical face of AI for clients, demonstrating prototypes and explaining implementation decisions.
- COE & Team Enablement: Mentor onshore and offshore engineers through pair programming and design sessions. Define reusable Python frameworks and templates for AI delivery.
Technical Requirements:
- Strong hands-on Python development experience is non-negotiable.
- Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML/GenAI solutions (LLMs, RAG, agents, embeddings).
- Experience with REST APIs, SDK-based integrations, and microservices.
- Familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, vector databases, and document intelligence.
- Hyperscaler AI certifications (AWS/Azure) are highly preferred.
Special Requirements
Visa constraints: Only H1B Needed. Experience: 13+ year profiles required.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $190,000 – $270,000 per year (Estimated)
