Role Overview: Infra Cloud ITSM Architect
HMG America LLC is seeking a highly accomplished Infrastructure Delivery Architect to lead and operationalize Cloud Infrastructure Operations for a key enterprise client in New York City. This role is critical for ensuring the reliability, performance, and operational integrity of complex multi-cloud environments. You will be responsible for establishing a standardized, resilient operational framework that delivers consistent service availability and compliance with enterprise engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Operations & Reliability: Strengthen NOC automation and monitoring. Improve network observability and telemetry while automating configuration and change workflows.
- Observability & Automation: Build enterprise-wide observability for logs, metrics, and traces. Implement automation using Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation for patching, deployment, and rollbacks.
- FinOps & Cost Optimization: Mature FinOps practices with automated budgeting, governance, and reporting to ensure cost efficiency in cloud spend.
- Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture: Design and mature standardized cloud foundations across Azure and AWS. Implement network segmentation and zero-trust principles.
- ITSM & Security: Enhance Incident, Problem, and Change Management (IM/PM/CM) processes. Integrate CVE remediation workflows using tools like Tanium, Wiz, CrowdStrike, and Veracode.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 14+ years of professional experience in IT, with 10+ years specifically in infrastructure and cloud architecture roles.
- Advanced expertise in both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Hands-on experience with Datadog, SolarWinds, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Deep knowledge of ITSM processes and security vulnerability remediation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS or Azure Architect certifications.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud security in highly regulated industries.
- Background in financial services or other compliance-heavy sectors.
Special Requirements
Location: LOCAL ONLY (NYC). Interview/Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days/week). Duration: 6-12 months.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $180,000 – $250,000 per year (Estimated)
