Position Summary
We are seeking a talented and versatile professional for a long-term remote opportunity as a Business Analyst with Project Management expertise. This role is specifically tailored for individuals who have built a strong foundation as Business Analysts and have naturally progressed into Program or Project Management roles. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in monitoring and optimizing IT resource performance through process improvement and strategic data analysis, with a specific focus on AI enablement and implementation within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and measure relevant performance metrics to assess the efficiency of IT resources and identify areas for optimization.
- Devise and implement measures and targets to assess the performance of IT functions, services, and large-scale projects.
- Identify and analyze performance metrics to develop and maintain balanced scorecards and executive dashboards.
- Evaluate and monitor performance across IT-related areas including network management, application performance (APM), and system performance.
- Understand and align department and organizational strategies with operating objectives and technical initiatives.
- Make critical decisions regarding work methods in ambiguous situations, requiring minimal direction and high independent judgment.
- Lead AI enablement and AI implementation initiatives to drive innovation and consumer experience improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT resources are aligned with the broader Health Plan domain goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of technical experience in a corporate IT or consulting environment.
- Extensive experience in project management and formal requirements-gathering methodologies.
- Proven track record in problem analysis, process documentation, and workflow optimization.
- Expert proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint for data presentation.
- Strong analytical skills and a creative approach to complex problem-solving.
- A passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Domain and Technical Expertise
Candidates must possess multi-year experience specifically within the Health Plan domain, demonstrating a deep understanding of the healthcare payer landscape. Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of technical experience, knowledge of SQL for data extraction, and experience analyzing and presenting complex data sets to senior leadership. Six Sigma Certification is highly desirable. This role requires a professional who can navigate the intersection of business needs and technical capabilities, particularly as it relates to the integration of artificial intelligence into existing healthcare business processes. As a remote position, strong communication and self-management skills are essential for success in this long-term engagement.
Special Requirements
Must have multi-year experience in the Health Plan domain. Experience in AI enablement or AI implementation initiatives is required.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $125,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
