Role Overview: SAP S/4HANA O2C Functional Lead
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash (O2C) Functional Lead for a critical 6-month engagement. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with over 15 years of practical experience in SAP functional solution design and delivery. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of complex SAP solutions specifically tailored to support Ag Solutions business functions. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while being anchored in the Loveland, Colorado area. As a lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP initiatives, ensuring that business requirements are translated into robust, scalable, and efficient technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Own and drive comprehensive SAP solutions to support the Ag Solutions Order to Cash business function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Work individually or collaborate with functional architects and analysts to design and implement SAP solutions that meet complex business requirements.
- Determine the optimal approach to develop and deliver required functionality from financial, architectural, and operational perspectives.
- Ensure the integrity of all solutions within the Record to Report and O2C space through rigorous testing and quality assurance practices.
- Provide strategic direction to third-party providers and internal teams on SAP initiatives and best practices.
- Facilitate the bridge between business strategy and technology by developing a deep understanding of business processes and needs.
- Host and drive interactive working sessions with executive and field-level stakeholders to achieve solution alignment.
- Assist with the prioritization of demand items in the O2C space, balancing urgent fixes with long-term strategic enhancements.
- Directly involve yourself in optimized SAP solution delivery, covering both the planning and execution phases.
- Functionally own the end-to-end process to ensure all enhancements and defects are reviewed, validated, and approved.
- Develop and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Required Technical Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of practical experience in SAP functional solution design and delivery.
- At least 3 years in a senior lead role, directly or indirectly leading teams of SAP professionals.
- Hands-on functional experience working in various sub-modules of S/4HANA O2C.
- Deep integration knowledge with MM (Materials Management), AP (Accounts Payable), and AR (Accounts Receivable).
- Proven experience supporting custom solutions in Fiori, Pricing conditions, and complex workflows.
- History of designing complex SAP solutions to enable unique business processes in the agriculture or related sectors.
- Expertise in SAP development estimation and the application of industry best practices in solution delivery.
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Soft Skills and Leadership
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to executive leadership.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of business stakeholders.
- A proactive willingness to learn, teach, and share information with teammates and management.
- Proven track record of successful SAP implementations as a Functional Lead or Lead Architect.
Special Requirements
Remote work permitted; Domain restriction: Ag Solutions; 6-month contract duration.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $195,000 – $245,000 per year (Estimated)
