Role Overview: Senior SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Specialist
Quantum World Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Senior SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Specialist to join our client’s Finance Transformation team onsite in Santa Clara, CA. This is a critical role designed for a technical expert who can bridge the gap between complex financial business requirements and robust cloud-based analytical solutions. As the organization undergoes a significant digital overhaul of its financial systems, you will serve as the primary technical advisor, ensuring that all SAC implementations are scalable, efficient, and aligned with global best practices.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Scope
- Lead the design and implementation of SAC front-end components, including interactive dashboards, complex stories, and optimized user experiences tailored for executive-level financial reporting.
- Architect and manage back-end SAC structures, focusing on advanced data modeling, planning functions, and seamless integrations with existing ERP systems.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Vertex integration within the SAP ecosystem, ensuring tax compliance and reporting accuracy across all financial modules.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external implementation consultants to perform quality checkpoints on technical designs and architectural blueprints.
- Translate high-level business needs into detailed technical specifications, providing constructive challenge to existing processes to drive innovation.
- Support the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all SAC-related deliverables.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and documentation to build long-term internal capabilities and ensure the sustainability of the SAC platform.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud, with a proven track record of successful full-lifecycle implementations.
- Deep expertise in both SAC Planning and SAC Analytics/Reporting functionalities.
- Strong technical proficiency in Vertex and its integration with SAP financial systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of finance planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and technical teams alike.
- Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, CA, to foster direct collaboration with the project team.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $185,000 – $245,000 per year (Estimated)
