Position Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Solution Architect specializing in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS). This role is located in Greenfield, IN, and carries a primary focus on Order-Based Planning (OBP). As a senior architect, you will be responsible for the strategic design and implementation of supply chain solutions that enable global manufacturing excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of hands-on expertise in IBP OBP and PP/DS, complemented by a deep understanding of Demand Planning and Time-Series (TS) Supply Planning.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture for SAP IBP (with OBP focus) and PP/DS modules.
- Design scalable and integrated planning solutions that align with long-term business strategies and operational goals.
- Define and validate the planning architecture roadmap, including complex OBP-PP/DS integration and master data models.
- Oversee the seamless integration between SAP IBP (OBP) and S/4HANA environments.
- Provide expert guidance on CIF configuration, supply chain model design, planning operators, heuristics, and response strategies.
- Ensure that all planning logic aligns with manufacturing constraints, pegging requirements, and ATP (Available-to-Promise) strategies.
- Lead global programs by defining architecture standards and governance frameworks.
- Engage with C-level and operational stakeholders to influence decision-making and drive project success.
Technical Expertise Required
- 10-12+ years of dedicated SAP Supply Chain experience.
- At least 3 full-cycle implementations as a Lead Solution Architect.
- Deep hands-on expertise in SAP IBP Order-Based Planning (OBP).
- Advanced knowledge of SAP PP/DS, preferably within an S/4HANA context.
- Proven experience in end-to-end process design for manufacturing, including order pegging and constraint-based planning.
- Strong familiarity with SAP data models and integration frameworks such as CIF, PDS, BOMs, and Resources.
- Expertise in OBP/PPDS integration with S/4HANA/ECC (ATP, GATP, inventory, and production).
Professional Qualifications
The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent stakeholder communication skills and the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. This 6-month contract requires a professional who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to provide leadership in architecture design, ensuring that the supply chain model is robust, scalable, and capable of meeting the demands of a global enterprise. Experience in global program governance and defining architecture standards is highly preferred.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $210,000 – $290,000 per year (Estimated)
