Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Angular Engineer to join our dynamic development team in Jersey City, NJ. This onsite position is critical for driving the next generation of our web applications, focusing heavily on delivering a superior user experience (UX) and robust front-end architecture. As we move into 2026, the demand for high-performance, scalable web interfaces has never been higher, and we are looking for a professional who can lead the charge in Angular development.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement sophisticated web applications using the latest Angular frameworks (v14 and above).
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Back-End developers to translate complex business requirements into intuitive user interfaces.
- Take full ownership of the front-end lifecycle, making independent design and coding decisions that align with industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive automated testing suite, ensuring high code coverage using tools like Jasmine, Karma, Jest, and Cypress.
- Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience dedicated to Angular development.
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
- Deep understanding of RxJS for reactive programming and state management using NgRx.
- Hands-on experience with UI components like Angular Material and complex data grids like ag-Grid.
- Proven track record of implementing unit tests and end-to-end (E2E) testing frameworks.
- Strong version control skills using Git and a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
