Position Summary: AI Architect
We are looking for a visionary AI Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI platforms in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is central to our client’s digital transformation strategy, focusing on building AI-native, scalable, and secure solutions that leverage the latest advancements in GenAI, Agentic AI, and decision intelligence. As an architect, you will define the end-to-end AI architecture, ensuring that data ingestion, model training, and AI-driven insights are seamlessly integrated into the enterprise ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Focus
- Define and own the end-to-end AI architecture for enterprise solutions, moving beyond ‘bolt-on’ capabilities to truly AI-native platforms.
- Design and implement Generative AI solutions, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and multi-agent orchestration patterns.
- Establish modular, reusable, and composable AI components that align with enterprise architecture standards.
- Lead the design of MLOps and LLMOps pipelines for the entire lifecycle: training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and drift detection.
- Architect data solutions leveraging modern platforms, feature stores, vector databases, and knowledge graphs.
- Ensure all AI solutions adhere to strict enterprise security, privacy, and compliance requirements, embedding Responsible AI principles such as explainability and bias mitigation.
- Define governance frameworks for model usage, access control, and operational oversight.
Leadership and Collaboration
The AI Architect serves as a technical thought leader, collaborating closely with product owners, UX designers, data engineers, and DevOps teams. You will provide architectural guidance and mentorship to senior engineers while conducting rigorous architecture reviews. A significant part of this role involves communicating complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment between AI strategy and business outcomes. You will be responsible for identifying tool integrations and decision confidence mechanisms that drive automated and explainable business results.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $195,000 – $265,000 per year (Estimated)
