Position Overview: Data Architect (Onsite in Denver, CO)
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Data Architect to join our team in Denver, CO. This is an onsite position, and we are specifically looking for local candidates with a proven track record of working on projects within Colorado. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex data models and ETL processes, with a strong background in financial data systems. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of our data, driving robust data governance, and supporting advanced data visualization and reporting initiatives. The Data Architect will play a pivotal role in transforming business requirements into technical specifications, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Key Responsibilities and Expertise Areas:
- Database Management Systems: Leverage a minimum of 14 years of experience with large and complex database management systems, including but not limited to Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2, to design, optimize, and manage robust data infrastructures.
- Data Architecture & Analysis: Apply a minimum of 14 years of experience as a data architect or senior data analyst, focusing on the comprehensive design, meticulous implementation, and ongoing maintenance of sophisticated data models and efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Data Integration Tools: Utilize over 10 years of broad experience working with various database management systems and a wide array of data integration tools to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability across diverse platforms.
- Financial Data Systems Expertise: Demonstrate a strong background in financial data systems, encompassing in-depth knowledge of financial data modeling, establishing and enforcing data governance policies, and implementing robust data quality management frameworks.
- ETL, Data Warehousing & Automation: Prove extensive experience with ETL tools, designing and managing data warehouses, and automating data processes to guarantee the highest levels of data accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
- Data Visualization & Reporting: Apply proven experience in data visualization and reporting best practices, with hands-on familiarity with industry-leading tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, to create insightful and actionable reports.
- Cloud-Based Data Solutions: Exhibit familiarity with modern cloud-based data integration solutions, including platforms like Azure or Snowflake, to leverage scalable and flexible data architectures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Modern Data Integration Platforms: Experience with advanced data integration platforms such as Informatica, including Cloud Data Governance and Catalog, and Cloud Data Integration, or other contemporary solutions.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Possess strong analytical skills, enabling the effective translation of complex business requirements into precise technical specifications. Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 per year (Estimated)
