Overview: Java Developer (C2C Contract)
Flintech is actively seeking highly skilled and immediately available Java Developers for various contract-to-contract (C2C) opportunities with our esteemed clients across the United States. This particular opportunity highlights a Java Developer with 7+ years of experience, ready to contribute to innovative software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Java-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Work with various database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) to manage and retrieve data efficiently.
- Contribute to code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to architectural guidelines.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Engage in agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
Required Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
- Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful web services.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React) is beneficial for full-stack roles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Employment Details:
This is a C2C (Corp-to-Corp) contract position, offering flexibility and competitive rates. Consultants must be available immediately to start new projects. While the primary location for Flintech’s operations is Catonsville, MD, many client projects may be remote or require relocation to various client sites across the US. Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
