Overview:
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Microsoft Power Platform Engineer with a strong focus on AI Builder and Copilots, as well as deep expertise in Dynamics 365 and Power Apps. This is a critical role for an individual who thrives on designing and deploying cutting-edge AI-powered solutions that drive business automation, enhance customer interaction, and enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of Large Language Model (LLM) based AI systems, conversational AI, and machine learning-driven automation, with a proven track record of building scalable and production-ready solutions. A key aspect of this role involves robust data integration, connecting Copilot Studio to various relevant data sources such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and external APIs to ensure seamless and effective AI operations. This hybrid position requires local presence in NYC, NY, with a final face-to-face interview.
Key Responsibilities:
- AI Model Design and Implementation: Design, develop, and meticulously implement advanced AI models and algorithms leveraging the full suite of Microsoft technologies, ensuring optimal performance and integration.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with data scientists, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to thoroughly understand business requirements and translate them into effective, innovative AI solutions.
- AI Infrastructure Management: Build, maintain, and continuously optimize scalable, high-performance AI infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform, specifically focusing on AI Builder and Copilot integration with Dynamics 365.
- Machine Learning Development: Develop and deploy sophisticated machine learning models utilizing Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, Bot Framework, and other pertinent Azure AI tools.
- Performance Optimization: Proactively optimize AI algorithms for superior performance, scalability, and efficiency, ensuring solutions can handle growing data volumes and user demands.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing, validation, and rigorous evaluation of AI models to guarantee accuracy, reliability, and adherence to performance benchmarks.
- Documentation and Communication: Document and clearly communicate AI solutions, technical specifications, and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering understanding and alignment.
- AI Technology Evaluation: Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies, including various LLMs, SLMs, embeddings, and architectural patterns such as orchestration patterns and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), to inform solution development.
- Platform Improvement: Specify or implement enhancements to the AI platform, including fine-tuning or training custom machine learning models to improve system capabilities and performance.
Required Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Plugins, AI Builder, Copilot, and related architectural and design best practices.
- Proficiency with Azure, Azure DevOps for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and strong command of C# .NET.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying complex AI models and algorithms in a production environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Strong foundational knowledge of leading AI frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
- Familiarity and practical experience with iterative agile development methodologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, coupled with the ability to exercise mature judgment in complex situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts clearly.
Desired Skills:
- Relevant Dynamics, Power Platform, or Azure certifications are a significant plus.
- Familiarity with fundamental Machine Learning concepts and principles.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Patterns and their application.
- Experience with full lifecycle application testing, including functional, regression, performance, and integration testing, as well as delivery management.
- Comfortable with direct interaction with business users at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, an equivalent technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience building robust web applications.
