  • Developing very strong product plans and effectively building buy-in across the team, government partners (if applicable), and other contractors.
  • Defining clear product objectives and logically reverse-engineering the necessary path and communication strategies to achieve those objectives.
  • Leading discussions to ascertain the precise needs of the business or agency and its users, and adeptly capturing and communicating integrated business and technology requirements using clear, non-technical language.
  • Managing contract agreements and overseeing vendor interactions to ensure successful delivery of large-scale products or web services.

  • Demonstrated success in roles with similar responsibilities, ideally within IT, the private sector, or public policy/government.
  • Extensive experience managing a software product, encompassing end-to-end product development and leading a development team.
  • Proven experience with managing an application or product within a Salesforce environment, or significant Salesforce administration experience.
  • Proficiency in both waterfall and agile product management and technology delivery methods, with a clear understanding of agile milestones and the ability to facilitate all aspects of agile and/or waterfall methodologies.
  • A strategic thinker, adept at independently surfacing and accurately evaluating problems, even with incomplete information.
  • Ability to drive progress on resolution with minimal oversight, displaying sound judgment, including the measurement of risks and timely escalation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, crucial for discussing technical details, user experience considerations, and project management trade-offs.
