Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior-level Integrated Eligibility Systems Trainer Coordinator with a minimum of 10 years of experience. This is a critical role focused on designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training for the Integrated Eligibility system, which supports Medical, SNAP, and Cash programs. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders, management, and the Organizational Change Management team to ensure seamless training delivery and the continuous development and maintenance of training materials and schedules. This position requires a proactive individual who can build strong relationships with frontline staff and their leadership, becoming an integral part of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, develop, and test industry-standard training materials to support ongoing continuous improvement and new system releases.
  • Provide hands-on support to front-line workers and their supervisors, ensuring they are equipped to use the Integrated Eligibility system effectively.
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions with measurable outcomes, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Conduct post-training assessments, including direct observation, to evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in establishing support tickets to identify and address ongoing training and support needs.
  • Mentor other eligibility trainers, sharing best practices in adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Coordinate IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management activities related to the training system.
  • Plan, support, and coordinate user activities to ensure smooth system adoption and utilization.
  • Develop technical applications and resources to support users effectively.
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and enforce documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.
  • Provide comprehensive training for system products and procedures to end-users and support staff.
  • Perform application upgrades and ensure all training-related components are updated accordingly.
  • Perform monitoring, maintenance, and reporting on real-time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications relevant to the training environment.
  • Troubleshoot problems encountered by users or during training delivery, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Ensure the project life cycle adheres to District standards and procedures, particularly concerning training and system implementation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Excellent time management, public speaking, problem-solving, and both verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in word processing and presentation software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with traditional and modern training methods and techniques.
  • Exceptional organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with learning management systems (LMS), instructional design principles, and e-learning platforms.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and assess and analyze data effectively.
  • Must meet the minimum experience requirements for a Senior level STaR2 Labor category.

Additional Requirements:

  • This position is 100% ONSITE in Washington, DC.
  • Client prefers candidates local to the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) region.
  • No expense reimbursements will be provided; candidates must provide an all-inclusive rate.
  • Interviews will be conducted either via webcam or in person.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year
