About the Role:
This is a critical role for an experienced M365 / W365 Architect responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Microsoft 365 services, with a specific focus on the Windows 365 Cloud PC environment. The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in Microsoft 365 Services administration and a deep understanding of modern endpoint management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support the Windows 365 Cloud PC environment, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Lead the implementation of Windows Autopilot zero-touch provisioning for seamless device onboarding, reducing manual configuration efforts.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Intune for comprehensive device management, including configuration profiles, application deployment, and endpoint security policies.
- Implement and monitor compliance policies and conditional access rules to ensure secure access to resources, aligning with organizational security standards.
- Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using SAML-based authentication for enhanced security and user convenience.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and manage Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate-based authentication methods.
- Manage the user and device lifecycle within Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), ensuring accurate and efficient identity management.
- Lead and support M365-related projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Work closely with security, networking, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated and robust solutions that meet business requirements.
- Provide Level 3 (L3) support and conduct root cause analysis for complex M365 and endpoint-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in M365 and Microsoft stacked applications.
- Proven experience with Windows 365 Cloud PC.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
- Demonstrated experience with Windows Autopilot and zero-touch deployment scenarios.
- Experience in implementing and managing compliance policies and conditional access.
- Strong understanding of SAML and Single Sign-On concepts and implementation.
- Familiarity with PKI and certificate-based authentication.
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to lead and deliver complex initiatives.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Active Directory, particularly in relation to M365 integration.
- Familiarity with other Microsoft security and compliance tools.
- Experience in specific industries or domains (e.g., finance, healthcare).
