About the Role: Lead Anaplan Developer

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Anaplan Developer to join our fully remote team. This is a critical role responsible for leading Anaplan development initiatives, ensuring high-quality solutions, and mentoring junior team members. You will play a key part in designing, developing, and implementing Anaplan models that drive business insights and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model Development: Design, build, and maintain complex Anaplan models, including data integration, calculation logic, and user interface elements. Ensure models are scalable, efficient, and meet business requirements.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the Anaplan development team. Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and propose Anaplan solutions.
  • Development Best Practices: Adhere to and promote best practices in Anaplan development, including test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD), code reviews, and maintaining comprehensive wiki documentation.
  • Data Integration: Develop and manage data integrations between Anaplan and other systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve pre- and post-production issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of Anaplan solutions.
  • Agile Development: Work effectively within an agile software development environment, participating in Scrum or Kanban ceremonies and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management, both orally and in writing.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Anaplan features and industry trends, and proactively identify opportunities for process and solution improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer, with a significant portion focused on Anaplan development.
  • Proven experience delivering multiple commercially deployed products to market.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Anaplan and its associated technologies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work professionally with partners and colleagues.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in an agile software development organization (Scrum and/or Kanban).
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the U.S.
  • An active LinkedIn profile is required.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year
