Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to join our client’s team in a hybrid capacity in Boston, MA. This role requires a strong background in AEM development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. While the primary focus is on backend development, candidates must also possess some front-end experience to provide support when necessary. The ideal candidate will be local to the Boston area, possess excellent interpersonal, communication (both written and oral), and analytical skills, and thrive in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver AEM-based websites and applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both backend and frontend AEM components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM implementation and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Contribute to the technical design and architecture of AEM solutions.
- Provide support for frontend development tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with AEM Development.
- Proficiency in AEM development, including components, templates, workflows, and content management.
- Solid understanding of Java, JCR, OSGi, and related AEM technologies.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
- Must be local to the Boston, MA area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus but not required.
Employment Details
- This is a contract position with an estimated duration of 6-10 months.
