Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer to join our team. This role involves developing and implementing solutions that address complex business challenges, enhancing the ability to make data-driven decisions and improving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will prepare architecture and design documents for complex Banking applications, ensuring adherence to design constraints that translate effectively into coding. You will develop secure, high-quality code that operates seamlessly with other highly efficient sub-systems. We encourage proactive, out-of-the-box thinking and creativity by challenging conventional approaches to contribute towards operational efficiency. This role also includes troubleshooting problems and collaborating with Product Teams and other stakeholders to understand complex requirements and break them down into actionable design and development tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement solutions for complex business challenges.
- Enhance data-driven decision-making capabilities and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare architecture and design documents for complex Banking applications.
- Ensure coding aligns with design constraints and best practices.
- Develop secure and high-quality code for sub-systems.
- Proactively identify and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Understand and break down complex business requirements into technical specifications.
Technical Skills Required:
- Mandatory expertise in MQ, CICS, IMS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM & DB2.
- Mandatory expertise in CICS Programming, including CICS Screen Programming.
- Mandatory experience coding in MQ Series & IMS DB.
- Hands-on coding development experience is essential.
- Experience with version control systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience/Knowledge in building and maintaining new Test regions.
- Experience in Banking Compliance and Regulatory Platform.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
