Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow SAM Technical Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow Service Asset and Configuration Management (SAM) module. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT asset management best practices, software licensing, and the ServiceNow platform’s capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow SAM solutions to meet business requirements.
- Develop and configure ServiceNow SAM modules, including discovery, inventory, and license management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful implementation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to ServiceNow SAM.
- Develop and maintain documentation for SAM processes and configurations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features and industry best practices in IT asset management.
- Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and internal policies.
- Integrate ServiceNow SAM with other IT systems and tools.
- Perform system audits and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Technical Architect, with a strong focus on SAM.
- In-depth knowledge of IT asset management principles and software licensing models.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
