Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary SAP BTP Solution Architect for a fully remote position. This role is critical for designing and implementing scalable SAP S/4HANA cloud architectures, with a strong emphasis on integration using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in end-to-end solution design, full-cycle S/4HANA implementations, and a proven ability to translate complex business requirements into robust, best-practice-aligned technical solutions. You will be instrumental in driving the evolution of our enterprise architecture and integration strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the E2E translation of complex business needs into scalable SAP S/4HANA cloud architectures, managing integration via SAP BTP and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Leverage extensive experience from a minimum of three full-cycle S/4HANA implementations, particularly within the Professional Services industry, focusing on areas like Engagement Lifecycle Management, Resource and Time Management, and Billing.
- Expertly map business processes to technical solutions, proactively managing risks and ensuring the scalability and maintainability of the designed solutions.
- Define and implement integration approaches using SAP Cloud Integration Suite and SAP BTP.
- Design and advocate for clean core solution architectures within S4HC public cloud environments.
- Provide thought leadership in the definition and evolution of enterprise architecture, including instance strategy, integration strategy, cutover strategy, and data migration strategy.
- Troubleshoot and provide application support across the S4HC software and its associated integrations with SAP PS and other satellite applications.
- Act as an integral part of S/4 HANA Professional Services deployments on Public Cloud, driving the evolution of application architecture aligned with customer business strategy and processes.
- Utilize excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and presentation skills to effectively communicate architectural vision and solutions to diverse audiences.
- Ensure solutions are designed with a focus on future-proofing and adaptability to evolving business needs.
- Mentor and guide project teams on best practices for SAP S/4HANA and BTP implementation.
- Stay abreast of the latest SAP innovations and industry trends to continuously enhance our architectural capabilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) full-cycle S/4HANA implementations, preferably in the Public Cloud.
- Extensive experience in SAP BTP, including SAP Cloud Integration Suite.
- Deep understanding of Professional Services industry business processes (Engagement Lifecycle Management, Resource and Time Management, Billing).
- Experience with clean core solution design in S4HC public cloud.
- Certified in one or more SAP S/4HANA modules; SAP Enterprise Architect certification or TOGAF certification is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to define and manage enterprise architecture, integration, cutover, and data migration strategies.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective application support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
