Job Overview: SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) Expert
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) expert with a minimum of 14 years of comprehensive experience in the SAP ecosystem. This role requires deep expertise in Production Planning (PP), Demand to Production (DTP), Production Control System (PCS), and Quality Management (QM) modules within the S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP PP solutions to meet complex business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) functionalities.
- Develop and maintain robust solutions for Demand to Production (DTP) processes, ensuring seamless integration with other modules.
- Configure and manage Production Control System (PCS) functionalities to enhance production efficiency and control.
- Implement and support Quality Management (QM) processes within the S/4HANA framework, ensuring compliance and high standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Provide expert-level support for SAP PP, DTP, PCS, and QM modules, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system enhancements.
- Develop functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials for SAP PP implementations and upgrades.
- Stay abreast of the latest SAP S/4HANA innovations and best practices in Production Planning and Quality Management.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the SAP team.
- Ensure that all SAP PP configurations align with industry best practices and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 14 years of hands-on experience with SAP, with a significant focus on Production Planning (PP).
- Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP module.
- In-depth knowledge of Demand to Production (DTP) processes.
- Strong understanding and experience with Production Control System (PCS).
- Solid experience in SAP Quality Management (QM) module.
- Experience in configuring and implementing SAP PP functionalities, including master data, MRP, capacity planning, and shop floor control.
- Familiarity with integration points between PP and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, and CO.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with business users and technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- SAP certifications in PP or related modules are a plus.
