Job Summary:
Innovcentric LLC is seeking a skilled Mainframe Engineer to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity. This role is critical for supporting and maintaining enterprise z/OS environments, with a specific focus on CA TPX Session Management and CA SOLVE. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in mainframe operations, troubleshooting, and production support, ensuring the stability and efficiency of our critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level support and maintenance for enterprise z/OS environments.
- Manage and configure CA TPX Session Management to ensure seamless user access and session control.
- Utilize CA SOLVE for z/OS to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance.
- Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system-level problems and implement enhancements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to mainframe systems and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed for production support.
- Ensure adherence to security policies and best practices within the z/OS environment.
Required Skills:
- Mandatory Skills:
- Extensive experience with CA TPX Session Management.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with CA SOLVE for z/OS.
- Strong understanding of z/OS operating system concepts and architecture.
- Proven ability in troubleshooting complex mainframe issues.
- Experience with production support in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other mainframe utilities and tools.
- Knowledge of JCL, COBOL, or other mainframe programming languages.
- Familiarity with system automation tools.
