Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced e-Commerce Technical Product Manager for a 6-month contract role with Malla systems Inc dba eFulgent. This position is based in Redmond, WA, and requires onsite presence from day one. The role is a C2C contract opportunity, and we are specifically looking for candidates from Washington or Oregon.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for web and e-commerce features, ensuring they are detailed and engineering-ready.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineering teams to understand service behavior, API contracts, data flows, and integration needs.
- Create concise technical specifications, including detailed flows, API requirements, and error scenarios.
- Manage the end-to-end feature delivery lifecycle, encompassing planning, sprint execution, validation, and rollout.
- Analyze customer scenarios, identify product gaps, and prioritize features based on data-driven decision-making.
- Make critical tradeoffs to optimize product development and delivery.
- Break down complex problems into detailed, actionable scenarios for the engineering team.
- Ensure a deep understanding of consumer web e-commerce flows, including browse, cart, checkout, payments, and authentication.
- Work with backend services, REST APIs, and understand system interactions.
- Contribute to the strategic roadmap and vision for the e-commerce platform.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ensure product features meet business objectives and user needs.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.
Required Skills & Experience
- A strong e-Commerce background is mandatory for this role.
- 10-15 years of experience in feature development or product management within the e-commerce domain.
- A solid understanding of backend services, REST APIs, and complex system interactions.
- Proven experience working on consumer web e-commerce flows (browse, cart, checkout, payments, authentication, etc.).
- Exceptional ability to make strategic tradeoffs and break down complex problems into detailed, actionable scenarios.
- Proficiency in writing clear, structured, and engineering-ready documentation.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with A/B testing and data analysis for product optimization.
- Familiarity with various e-commerce platforms and technologies.
